Photography for Haiti

The Museum of Contemporary Photography participates in Blues for Haiti with photography sales from 80 photographers, with proceeds assisting the event. It will take place on Wednesday 17 March from 7pm to midnight at Bocconi

The Museum of Contemporary Photography is selling photographs for charity, contributing to Blues for Haiti – an initiative organized by Università Bocconi to raise funds to support the population hit by the earthquake.

Eighty photographers, from young talented artists to well-established masters, responded to the Museum's appeal and will make several of their photographs available for sales with proceeds assisting the event. Photographs will be on display in the foyer of Università Bocconi on Wednesday 17 March from 7pm to midnight.

Several important Italian photographers have already confirmed their participation, including Luca Andreoni, Marina Ballo Charmet, Gabriele Basilico, Cesare Colombo, Mario Cresci, Paola De Pietri, Paola Di Bello, Vittore Fossati, Moreno Gentili, Luigi Gariglio, Guido Guidi, Francesco Jodice, Mimmo Jodice, Silvia Lelli e Roberto Masotti, Uliano Lucas, Paola Mattioli, Maurizio Montagna, Toni Nicolini, Francesco Radino, Moira Ricci, Ferdinando Scianna, Luciano Soave and Alessandra Spranzi.

For the occasion, the Museum of Contemporary Photography has also produced several Digigraphie prints from its Mario Cattaneo and Enzo Nocera collections. A special printing of Federico Patellani works will also be produced.

Charity sales will take place during Blues for Haiti, an evening event organized by Università Bocconi whose most important event will be a concert of a total of 30 musicians. beginning at 8:30pm.
