The 2026–2030 Strategic Plan as a Guide
The new Board’s work will be guided by the 2026–2030 Strategic Plan, which directs the University’s development along three dimensions: the centrality of scientific research, the development of human capital and preparation for the transformations brought about by artificial intelligence. This vision goes hand in hand with strengthening Bocconi’s international presence and European identity.
Priorities include attracting and developing faculty and staff, supporting interdisciplinary research, expanding access opportunities through scholarships and financial aid, investing in technological infrastructure and the campus and fostering research-driven entrepreneurship. The responsible integration of AI into teaching and research, along with an openness to the cognitive sciences, will help renew the educational offer and the production of knowledge, alongside a commitment to inclusion, sustainability and social impact.
“The Strategic Plan provides us with a clear direction and a shared responsibility,” Sironi emphasizes. “The Board’s role will be to translate this vision into concrete actions, empowering people to conduct research, teach, and learn to the best of their ability, and ensuring that Bocconi has the resources and stability necessary to continue growing.”
