Masciandaro in the SUERF Council of Management

Donato Masciandaro, Department of Economics and Baffi Centre, has been appointed a member of the Council of Management of SUERF (Sociètè Universitarie Europèenne de Recherches Financièr) for the 2011-2014 term. SUERF is an association of professional economists, financial practitioners, central bankers and academics, established in 1963 with the aim to create a European network of monetary policy and finance scholars.

Since its establishment, SUERF and Università Bocconi have been enjoying strong ties: Mario Monti was SUERF president in 1982-1985, Franco Bruni in 1997-2000.

SUERF publishes a research studies series (SUERF Studies) focused on the current trends of financial markets, monetary policy, regulation and supervision, and organizes periodical, closed doors colloquia in cooperation with the main European central banks.
