Marinacci Delivers the Joseph Schumpeter Lecture
About the application of decision theory to economics and finance
Massimo Marinacci, who holds the Axa-Bocconi Chair in Risk in the Department of Decision Sciences and is IGIER Fellow, delivered the Joseph Schumpeter Lecture on August 26th at the 2014 Annual Congress of the European Economic Association at the Toulouse School of Economics.
In addition to the Presidential address, the Schumpeter Lecture is, along with the Marshall Lecture, one of the two plenary lectures given at the annual congress of the European Economic Association. In his lecture, Marinacci highlighted the many applications to economics and finance that concepts and theorems in decision theory have. The lecture will appear in the Journal of the European Economic Association.
