Giacomo Morri Named President of ERES
At the close of the 18th ERES Annual Conference, held from 15 to 18 June at Eindhoven , Giacomo Morri, Director of the Master in Real Estate program at SDA Bocconi and professor at Università Bocconi, is the new President of the European Real Estate Society (ERES).
ERES was founded in the Netherlands in 1994 by a group of academics, mostly English and Dutch, to establish the first association of economists in the real estate sector in Europe: the main purpose is the dissemination of culture, research and training in the field of real estate.
Members come from most European countries and have strong ties to the major real estate associations, including EPRA, INREV and RICS and other Real Estate Societies. Capping a series of meetings each year, the Annual Conference is the Society's most important moment for discussion and exchange, and is held in a different country every year: in 2010 the ERES Annual Meeting was held at Università Bocconi with over 500 participants from 40 countries around the world.
