The annual conference of the International Federation for Information Technologies in Travel and Tourism

Rodolfo Baggio, Department of Institutional Analysis and Public Management, has been appointed chairman of ENTER2012, eTourism Present and Future Services and Applications, the 19th annual conference of the International Federation for Information Technologies in Travel and Tourism (IFITT), to be held in Helsingborg, Sweden, 24th to 27th of January 2012.

IFITT defines itself "the leading independent global community for the discussion, exchange and development of knowledge about the use and impact of new information and communication technologies in the travel and tourism industry", while ENTER2012, according to the organizers, "offers a worldwide and unique forum for attendees from academia, industry, government, and other organizations to actively exchange, share, and challenge state-of-the-art research and industrial case studies on the application of information and communication technologies to travel and tourism".

Rodolfo Baggio sits on the board of IFITT.
