The decision sciences scholar also obtains two acknowledgements for his activity as reviewer for two other journals

Emanuele Borgonovo (Department of Decision Sciences) has joined the editorial board of Risk Analysis: An International Journal, effective from June 1, 2013, for a two-year term.

Risk Analysis is the official journal of the Society for Risk Analysis (SRA). "The journal was founded in 1981 and has grown remarkably during the last decade, including doubling the number of pages, publishing monthly, attracting increasing numbers of subscribers from Asia, and publishing many more papers from authors outside of Europe and North America. The impact factor has more than doubled", the SRA website states.

The activity of reviewer for other journals meanwhile has gained Borgonovo other two acknowledgements: European Journal of Operational Research's 2013 Certificate of Excellence in Reviewing "in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the quality of the journal" and Environmental Modelling & Software's Outstanding Reviewer Award 2012 "for his dedication and efforts in providing the Journal with reviews of exceptionally high standards throughout 2012".
