Borgonovo ESRA Technical Committee New Chairman
Emanuele Borgonovo (Department of Decision Sciences) has been appointed Chairman of the Technical Committee on Uncertainty Analysis of the European Safety and Reliability Association (ESRA), effective from January 1, 2013.
ESRA is a non-profit international association for the advance and application of safety and reliability technology in all areas of human endeavour. It is an umbrella organisation with a membership consisting of national professional societies, industrial organisations and higher education institutions.
The objective of the Technical Committee on Uncertainty Analysis is to foster research on new methodologies and innovative applications of uncertainty and sensitivity analysis of simulation models via summer schools, conferences, courses and the support to the publication of peer-reviewed papers in prestigious internationally refereed journals.
