AOM: Conference and Job Market in Orlando
With its 9,000 participants from 85 countries, 1,661 sessions and the job market for junior researchers, the Academy of Management (AOM) Annual Meeting (Lake Buena Vista, Orlando, Florida, 9-13 August 2013) is the most important gathering for management academia. Also this year Univesità Bocconi is well represented: with its 44 scholars, it't one of the 33 universities with more than 30 participants.
The AOM Annual Meeting is also an important networking opportunity (to this end Bocconi organizes a famed reception) and the venue of a job market for junior professors. At the end of the same process, last year, were selected Nel Dutt from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and Franz Wohlgezogen from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, who will join Bocconi on September 1.
