Andrea Colli in the Council of the European Business History Association
Andrea Colli, associate professor of economic history, has been elected member of the council of the European Business History Association, the professional body of business history scholars. The electronic ballot was held in the second half of December 2010 and the mandate will expire at the end of 2014.
The council is the governing body of the European Business History Association. It is composed of ten members, including a president, a vice-president, a secretary and a treasurer. The council takes all the main decisions regarding the life of the association: it chooses the president and the vice-president and decides the venue of the annual conference. It manages the association's funds, used for such activities as the PhD summer school, attended by 20 PhD candidates in business history from all around the world.
Established in 1994, the European Business History Association boasts of members in excess of 300.
