Ambassadors Wanted

, by Andrea Celauro, translated by Richard Greenslade
Applications are open as of Monday 23 February for positions as BAA oncampus Ambassadors. Choose the area you like best and put your name into play

Students in MSc programs and the fourth and fifth years of Law, attention: BAA is seeking new ambassadors. From 23 February to 7 March, you can send your application to the address vponcampus@alumnibocconi.it with resume and motivation letter explaining your idea, strategy or plan to increase the presence of BAA among students on campus (and also indicating area of interest among those specific to BAA). There is only one requirement: you need to be present in Milan until December 2015.

Divided by areas and coordinated by the BAA Vice President on campus, which since December 2013 is Tudor Carstoiu, an ambassador is the spokesman for the association among the students. The task is to increase awareness of the importance of building a global network of alumni, starting from the halls of the university, and to increase opportunities for students and alumni on campus through the creation of ad hoc activities. Ambassadors are the link between the students and the Bocconi alumni network, and at the moment there are six: the graduate area is headed by Carlo Silvestri and the undergraduate by Giulia Tombi. The connection between BAA Topic Groups and student associations is coordinated by Giulia Poletti, while the legal, communication and sports areas are handled respectively by Marco Sportelli, Giulia Bifano and Luigi D'Albo.

After closing the call, which is also available through this specific Facebook page, the new ambassador will be selected by BAA, which will communicate the results via e-mail after 15 March.
