Alumni Bocconi Dinner with Alessandro Profumo
In the aftermath of the stress tests, the banks have some reckoning to do. What future awaits our credit system, with its lights and shadows, squeezed as it is between the effects of the crisis, the need for capital and opportunities of the new digital business models? We will discuss this and more with Alessandro Profumo, president of the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Bank, during his dinner speech with the Bocconi Alumni Association, to be held on 25 November (at 7pm, via Röntgen 1 building). the event is reserved for BAA members and their guests.
Alessandro Profumo, Bocconi graduate of 1998, has been president of the Monte dei Paschi since April 2012 and President of the ABI's Committee for the affairs of trade unions and labor since July 2014. In 2012 he was appointed by Internal Market Commissioner Michel Barnier be part of a group of European experts to assess the functioning of the banking sector in the EU and to identify possible measures to reform to its structure. At the international level, has also been president of the European banking federation in Brussels and the International monetary conference in Washington.
