Academics for exchange students: Course selection

The Course Selection for the Fall semester of the AY 2025-2026 will run from August 21 to August 26, 2025, through the yoU@B student diary at agenda.unibocconi.it. Courses will be assigned on a first come-first served basis and no waiting list will be available. To maximize your chances of securing classes, we recommend staying flexible and expanding your pre-approved tentative course list to include backup options, in case you are unable to register for your preferred classes.

Exchange students will also have the possibility to change their study plan during the Add/Drop period scheduled between September 9 and September 16, 2025. After the Add/Drop deadline no changes will be allowed on your study plan.

All courses included in the students' study plans will appear in their Official Bocconi final transcripts.

Since exchange students can choose from courses across all years and Degree programs, class schedule overlaps may occur. Class groups with the same course code may have different schedules and may be assigned a different number of credits.

In case you need assistance in building your study plan, you can contact the Academic Advisors.

STUDY PLAN GUIDELINES

  1. Exchange students must enroll in a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 5 courses per semester while at Bocconi and must ensure that they also satisfy their home university requirements.
  2. Undergraduate students can choose only among courses offered at the undergraduate level (identified with code 30xxx). Graduate students are allowed to choose both undergraduate (30xxx) and graduate (20xxx and 50xxx) courses.

Bocconi University has multiple exam sessions, with Fall semester exams held in December, January and February and Spring semester exams held in May, June/July.

Additional Course Selection Rules:

There is no need to specify this status when selecting courses, as it is managed directly with the instructor after the start of classes. Students must follow the instructions outlined in the course syllabi or explained by the instructor in class

· Course restrictions:

  • some courses have specific prerequisites carefully review the "Suggested Background Knowledge" section in the course profile section.
