1. Access the Library 24/7 

Bocconi Library is located in via Gobbi 5, but you can explore its collections and services directly from the Library website. On the Library homepage you will find SearchLib to access books, articles and more, and the A-Z Databases list, the quickest way to browse and access databases. The Library offers also access to leading international newspapers and magazines, such as the Financial Times, The Economist and Il Sole 24 Ore, some of which are also available via app. 

Libguides are a great way to help your students find relevant resources for your discipline. They provide a selection of key databases, journals and books recommended for different subjects, topics (for example, how to use financial databases or find specific data) and services. 

Fill in the dedicated form for purchase and Inter-Library Loan requests: we shape our collections to match your research needs.  

2. Course Reserves and teaching materials 

The Library team can help you make required readings accessible to your students through the Library Course Reserves tool, integrated into your Blackboard course home page. Find out more about this service. 

3. Get tailored support 

Faculty members can get help and assistance from the Library team directly at the Information Desk in the Library, or by scheduling an online meeting via MS Teams or Zoom. To schedule a Library meeting, please write to infobiblio@unibocconi.it.   

Each semester, the Library offers a series or workshops on databases, research strategies, managing citations, and much more. As a faculty member, you can write to us to request on-demand workshops designed specifically for your class or research needs. 

Need to purchase data for a research project using your personal research funds? Contact the Library. We will support you during the whole acquisition process, from getting the quotation through the final agreement with the vendor.  

4. Publish in Open Access 

Bocconi University promotes Open Access as a key practice for making research freely available to all.  Open Access publishing is supported through transformative agreements with academic publishers, allowing Bocconi authors to publish in Open Access at zero costs.
