Since the beginning, the main reason that brought me to the decision to study at Università Bocconi was the wide offer this university has in the field of international relations. Actually, even during my first year, I was impatiently waiting for my turn.

And when the exchange program rankings finally came out, I found out my destination: Australia. My 6-month stay in Australia was my first real experience abroad. Needless to say, it was one of the best experiences in my life. A new continent, a new city, a new university, a new culture, a new lifestyle and way of thinking and obviously...new friends! The semester I spent in Australia was very intense, I don't think I had ever travelled so much in my life! I was motivated and curious to experience as many things as possible, the desire to see places, to meet new people, to live my life at its fullest! Every weekend was an opportunity to visit a new city or discover new places in an extraordinary a country as Australia, it can really surprise you with its amazing landscapes and sightseeing: rain forests, tropical islands, deserts and the "great ocean road!"

While I was in Australia, the experience gave me so much energy and desire to experience new situations that I decided to apply for the Campus Abroad project. I spent just a few weeks back home in Italy and then I packed my bags once more, destination: Shanghai. When I first saw the city I realized I was in a new world with such a rich and fascinating history and culture, so different from ours. I will never forget my visits to the companies and industrial plants in the heart of China, a new way to think of business and profits. And then Shanghai, a metropolis nothing less than the other big metropolises in the world, a constantly moving, frenetic, chaotic city with a big desire to continue to grow more each day.

These two international experiences during my Bachelor led me to the decision to choose a program with a strong international perspective, and therefore I decided to attend International Management. In this case as well I decided to exploit all the opportunities I was given by Università Bocconi and so, when I found out that there was the possibility of a Campus Abroad project in New York I instantly applied. I immediately fell in love with New York. A city which reflects my personality where you can find everything you're looking for and even more. I had the incredible opportunity to attend one of the best business schools in the world, New York University.

During my second year of International Management I also applied for the CEMS master which brought me to Warsaw (Poland) and then to ESADE in Barcelona for a whole semester, joining a corporate partners network and valuable colleagues, an experience that broadened my horizons and showed me the way to follow the working world.

Thanks to Università Bocconi, I can write "in 5 years I studied in 4 continents and 6 different countries" in my cover letters, but above all I've learned to know and appreciate new cultures, new ways of thinking and living, I could compare my experience with those of other students from all over the world and I could experience so many different and exciting situations that trained me both academically and personally. I've got so many memories that will be with me for the rest of my life, feelings, emotions and many friends.

Don't be afraid to leave, let your curiosity and desire to get to know the world guide you and take you to the place where everyone's eagerly waiting for you to come.
