From Universiday to Universinight: the project dedicated to university students in Milan celebrates its conclusion

Live music, an exhibition of the works selected for the competition and the awards ceremony: this will be the conclusion of Universiday, the project developed in partnership by Corriere della Sera, the City of Milan, Milan Chamber of Commerce, Miworld and twelve institutions of higher education in Milan. The event is to be hosted by Estathé Market Sound, a festival held in the area of the wholesale market in Milan (via Cesare Lombroso, 54), on Saturday 13 June.

The event will start at 4pm with music by live bands, including Pochi di Buono and Io Drama. In the meantime, everybody will have the possibility to access the lounge area, featuring the exhibition of around one-hundred shortlisted works from the digital contest organized by Universiday, which consisted of five categories: music, photography, urban art, video making and writing. The awards ceremony, starting at 8pm, will be presented by Max Brigante of Radio 105: for each category, two projects will win the awards – one chosen by the jury, the other according to the web audience's choice. More live music with Africa Unite, Motel Connection, Cassius Live and Caroline Koch will follow.
