Uni-Match, University Rugby Hits the Scene

The fifth annual match between LUISS and Bocconi on 16 March in Rome carries on a sports rivalry. After the game, adversaries will become buddies as both teams head for the Olympic Stadium to cheer on the Italian National rugby team in their match against Eire

As has been the tradition from 2009 on, university level rugby returns along with the prestigious Six Nations tournament. The fifth annual LUISS-Bocconi UNI-Match will be held at 10am on 16 March at the Stadio dei Marmi in Rome.

The record of previous games is perfectly even at 2-2, and the Roman team beat the Milanese last year 17-10. This year's encounter has additional meaning, as it is dedicated to the memory of Ludovico Bruschini, the captain of the LUISS squad who died in an automobile accident last January 22.

After the match there wiill be the traditional third half festivities, and then athletes and managers will have the chance to attend the Italy-Eire qualifyiing match for the Six Nations tourney
