Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love: Raise the Curtain!

Music, can-can, love stories and all the passion that an acting company is capable of: this is what can be expected by those who will decide to purchase the ticket for Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love, the musical produced by Bocconi Live Performance Student Association (BLPSA) in collaboration with Bocconi Arts Campus, going on stage on Thursday 24 September, in the aula Magna of via Roentgen, at 8.30pm.

Although the cast had already performed a show-case back in May, 24 September will be the official opening night of the musical and the students, whose backgrounds as live performers are highly heterogeneous, are very excited: "Our singers are really extraordinary, it was a surprise for us too! But inside BLPSA there are also people who have had very few experiences, and not necessarily as live performers. Mounting a musical requires a whole range of competences that go beyond being an actor, and we also have people who are passionate about photography, communication, graphics and so on", says Desirè Puletto, President of the association and second-year student of the MSc in Marketing Management.

"It is surely the desire to see our dreams come true and to show our talent that unites us, whatever that talent is", explains Desirè who, by working in the production of Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love, has faced the whole list of organizational, logistic and managerial challenges that a musical involves. "An experience like this brings you face to face with all those things you think you can't do, and it's something I would recommend to anyone looking to work in show business."
