Three Weeks of Hot Winter Studies
Students packed their luggage and left for warmer climates. It wasn't a vacation, though. It was the Winter 2012 edition of Campus Abroad, the study exchange program that Bocconi organizes together with partner universities around the world. Ninety Bocconi students left for three different destinations: São Paulo and Dubai for undergraduate students, Sydney for graduate and law school students. In the host universities, students attended classes in English held by Bocconi and local professors, as well as seminars at and visits to the leading political institutions and economic organizations of the respective countries. In Brazil, Bocconians were hosted by the Fundação Getulio Vargas, which is part of the CEMS network, where they attended the course in political science taught by Paolo Graziano and Matteo Jessoula, while the Dubai class studied how to draft a business plan at the local American University supervised by Cinzia Parolini and Irene Dagnino. In Australia, graduate and law school students dealt with entrepreneurship and business planning along with professors Paola Dubini and Alex Turrini.
