Three Days to Discover Bocconi
Welcome Days are an opportunity to welcome to first-year students, but also, and more importantly, an occasion to introduce a new stage in their academic career to students enrolled in their first year of a Bachelor or Master of Science program and to introduce services and the cultural, artistic and sporting activities at Università Bocconi. Welcome Days are organized by the International Recruitment Services, scheduled for 7, 8 and 12 September on campus and open to all current students.
Program Directors will introduce their programs and informational desks will present the various services (including the Career Service, International Relations, the Language Center, SEDIN and the Library) are the main events. There will also be parallel events such as the "Bocconi Art Tour," a guided tour to discover the contemporary art created by Italian and international artists hosted in the various buildings, You@Milano from Student to Student, an occasion for students to talk to new classmates about their experience living and studying in Milan, and "Associations on Display," a small fair of associations and groups recognized by the University which brings together students with similar interests and plan cultural, political and socio-economic activities.
A desk dedicated to the Student Media Center will also be available, where students from Radio Bocconi, BStudents TV and Tra i Leoni will be able to provide information to anyone interesting in collaborating.
"Welcome Days is an event which constitutes our initial opportunity to welcome first-year students to Università Bocconi," says Stefania Bianchi, Director of the Student Affairs Division. "There is a full calendar of initiatives for students. It's also a time to create new relationships and socialize with students coming from all over the world."
