Tennis Tournament, Registration Now Open for Men's Brackets

On 19 February at CS Bazzi, the fourth edition of the competition reserved to students will kick off. Who will replace De Florio and Giustacchini as the winner?

Starting on Monday 21 January ranked and unranked players at all levels can register for the 2013 edition of the Bocconi Tennis Tournament. It is a singles men's tournament reserved for students and organized by the Bocconi Sport Team. The tournament bracket will have 24 players and it will begin on 19 February, with the final match scheduled for 7 March.

As usual, the tournament will be held on the clay courts at CS Bazzi located at Via Bazzi 20. The fourth edition will be held this year. Past winners have been Aldo De Florio for two consecutive years and Andrea Giustacchini last year.

During recent seasons, the Tennis group of the Bocconi Sport Team has grown both at the national level, participating in the Coppa Davis organized by CUS, and at an international level with an excellent record during the 2008-2009 season, and placing second place during the following year at the HEC Tennis Tournament. The French tournament is held each year during the first weekend in October on the clay courts at Roland Garros in Paris.

For Bocconi's tournament, all participants must be members of the Bocconi Sport Team for the 2012-2013 season, and submit a participation fee of 5 euros along with a medical certificate of good health valid for the entire duration of the tournament.

Registration will be open until 14 February at 1pm, or until the maximum number of 24 players have registered.
