Stefano Baia Curioni speaks on the global art market at Art Basel

The vice president of Bocconi's ASK Research Center presented the early results of a project that observed the contemporary art sector
"The (Artistic) Meaning of Art Market Value": this is the title of the speech that Stefano Baia Curioni, vice president of the ASK (art, science, knowledge) Center at Bocconi, presented on Saturday 18 June, along with Paola Nicolin (Bocconi) and Marta Kuzma, director of the Office for Contemporary Art Norway, at Art Basel, the most important and selective contemporary art fair. The presentation was held in the context of the conversations of the Art Salon.
Baia Curioni, Nicolin and Kuzma discussed the resluts of the work the ASK center has done on the relationship between the art market and globalization, starting from Art Basel's catalogues from 2005 to 2010.
