, by Claudio Todesco
The tenth call of the Milanese incubator will open today, 2 October. Winners will obtain two years of high value services. A marketplace reserved for startups' products is launched

Speed MI Up, the incubator of Bocconi University and Chamber of Commerce of Milan with the participation of the Municipality of Milan, launches its tenth call. From today, Monday 2 October, 15 places are available for companies with solid, innovative and potentially international ideas. The tender, closing on 9 November, is available at https://www.speedmiup.it.

Eligible participants are aspiring entrepreneurs and enterprises that have been active for less than 20 months. They will be selected using curricula, elevator pitches (3-minute videos), and business plans. The startuppers who pass the selection will be able to take advantage of high-value services, from continuous tutorship activities to technical and consulting services, as well as assistance in accessing funding.

The call coincides with the launch of the Startup Shop (https://startupshop.speedmiup.it/). It is a marketplace where products and services marketed by the past, present and future Speed MI Up startups are offered at discounted prices. The platform can also be used for market tests designed according to the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) principle.

Among the success stories of Speed MI Up, launched in 2013 and currently present in the Milanese offices of Via Gobbi 5 and Via Achille Papa 30, there are Orwell (a studio specialized in virtual reality applications that has realized among other things the Klimt VR Experience), One Tray (branded trays for security airport controls), Cercaofficina.it (online car repair services, valued €7mln), D1 Milano (a watch producer now based in Dubai, valued $11.5mln), Quattrocento, My Cooking Box, Diferente, Wash Out, Mind The Gum, Taskhunters.
