In September, the University Awaits You... Outside the Classroom
Starting from today, Bocconi student associations have also started getting ready to receive the new students, with a series of events designed to meet each other and for all tastes: parties, picnics, debates, five-a-side football, quizzes, treasure hunts, happy hours, exhibitions... the full program of events scheduled from 4 to 18 September is available at this link. Besides taking part in these meetings, all students, both senior and new ones, are invited to Associations on Display, the annual fair devoted to the University's student associations, which will take place from 15 to 17 September, from 10am to 5pm in the area between the Velodromo and the Grafton building, as part of the Welcome Days program.
With over 70 associations, Bocconi students have at their disposal – and make available to their peers – a virtually unlimited range of opportunities to choose among to invest their spare time in: indeed, students can not only join one of the existing groups, but also create a brand new one.
Literature, micro-finance, gender and sexual orientation diversity, law, Chinese culture, consulting, fashion, youth entrepreneurship, music, volunteering: these are only a few of the subjects driving the most active Bocconi student associations, led by students in order to express their potential and creativity to the full, sometimes regardless of the academic program they have chosen.
Get yourselves involved then! As the Rector reminded, "Bocconi does not mean study and lectures only. There are plenty of activities, many of which organized by students, and we hope that the new students will do their best by engaging in these activities too!"
