SDA Bocconi Team is Runner up in 2015 WBS Case Challenge
An honorable runner-up spot for the SDA Bocconi team which last weekend participated in the 2015 WBS Case Challenge organized by Warwick Business School and sponsored by GE Healthcare and GE Healthcare Finnamore. Held in London, the competition challenges teams from business schools to come up with
innovative solutions to current challenges in the healthcare industry.
The competition encourages the participation of multidisciplinary teams and SDA Bocconi was in fact represented by 3 students of the MBA program and 3 of the MIHMEP program (the Master of International Health Care Management, Economics &Policy). The MBA students were Davide Scannapieco, from Italy, Johanna Grisales, Colombian, and Sahil Sahni, from India, while the MIHMEP students were Piero Senatore, Italian, Olaitan Awonusi, Nigerian, and Miguel Mirò, from Spain.
The team went through the first round of 8 business schools and then came runner-up to Manchester Business School in the final.
"It was an amazing opportunity for us to compete with other top-tier business schools and network with students from all around the world, not to mention the exposure to the healthcare industry," says Johanna. "And our second place was a great satisfaction with both judges and colleagues deeply appreciating our contributions and ideas."
