Bocconi presence at the Academy of Management gathering

The venues of the 71st Academy of Management Annual Meeting (S. Antonio, Texas, August 12-16, 2011) will be the stage for a Bocconi's Department of Management and Technology recruiting mission.

A group of professors led by Alfonso Gambardella will interview 20 PhD holders in order to select 6 or 7 of them for the autumn job market seminars at Bocconi. "With two positions to cover", Gambardella says, "we are particularly happy about the surge in applications and their quality".

The number of applications has nearly doubled compared to last year and, with some more days to deadline, is approaching 100. Some of the applicants gained their PhDs at powerhouses of the field like Harvard, Wharton and NYU in the US or INSEAD and IESE in Europe.

The Academy of Management Annual Meeting is a mammoth gathering of 8,000 scholars from 78 countries and an invaluable networking opportunity for the participants – with Bocconi enhancing the chances of good encounters thanks to one of the most crowded and appreciated receptions.

Bocconi will be present with the fifty scholars listed below: Silvia Bagdadli, Elio Borgonovi, Stefano Breschi, Manuela Brusoni, Stefano Brusoni, Eugenia Cacciatori, Arnaldo Camuffo, Rossella Cappetta, Francesco Castellaneta, Carmelo Cennamo, Magdalena Cholakova, Bruno Cirillo, Amelia Compagni, Raffaele Conti, Guido Corbetta, Maria Cucciniello, Giada Di Stefano, Roberto Fontana, Kun Fu, Alfonso Gambardella, Robert Grant, Gili Greenberg, Andreas Hinterhuber, Allaya Paramita Koesoema, Andrea Lanza, Daniella Laureiro-Martinez, Federico Lega, Ubaldo Macchitella, Massimo Magni, Alessandro Minichilli, Mario Minoja, Alberto Monti, Diana Morinello, Lucia Naldi, Greta Nasi, Claudio Panico, Chiara Paolino, Francesco Perrini, Luigi Proserpio, Davide Ravasi, Dino Ruta, Carlo Salvato, Severino Salvemini, Giuseppe Soda, Fabrizio Tediosi, Giovanni Valentini, Veronica Vecchi, Gianmario Verona, Alessandro Zattoni, Maurizio Zollo.
