Recruiters Position SDA Bocconi Among the Elite
SDA Bocconi School of Management placed 6th in Europe, gaining one position, in the Global Top 200 Business Schools 2013 ranking, placing itself in the group of 13 European schools defines as 'elite'. The ranking of the best MBA programs is based exclusively on the evaluations of MBA graduates by over 4,000 recruiters around the world.
The recruiters, all with active experience in hiring MBA graduates, were asked which schools they preferred to recruit from. According to recruiters, SDA graduates excel in particular regarding their preparation in the topics of marketing (where the MBA ranked 12th worldwide and 5th in Europe), finance (15th worldwide and 6th in Europe) and international management (16th worldwide and 7th in Europe).
"This result makes us particularly happy due to the importance of this ranking, because it is based solely on the opinion of recruiters and thus reflects upon the very positive reception which our program receives in the international job market," comments Bruno Busacca, dean of SDA Bocconi.
"The ranking we earned highlights the positive impact obtained by our strong efforts in recent years to strengthen those elements within the curriculum most useful for improving the employability of our graduates," comments Gianmario Verona, MBA director.
Published by QS, the international network dedicated to education and professions which also draws up the World University Rankings, the rankings were published on their TopMBA portal.
The result is in line with the excellent acknowledgements obtained by SDA Bocconi which last month saw the school placed 3rd among the best international MBA programs outside the US by Forbes and 14th in Europe in the ranking of MBA programs by The Economist.
