The fifth Radio Bocconi party is set for 16 May, with hosts broadcasting live all day in front of the Piazza Sraffa 13 building. Starting at 9pm there will be a DJ set for the 600 participants at the evening event. Tickets go on sale today at Egea

It's almost as if it were completing an Italian 3+2 degree: RB Day, the birthday party for Radio Bocconi, will host its fifth edition on 16 May, after sixth years on the air. There will be a big party once again this year, with a day of live broadcasts from the courtyard near the Piazza Sraffa 13 building (the Velodromo), a happy hour open to everyone at 6pm and a DJ set starting at 9pm, open only to those with admissions tickets for the evening. Tickets go on sale today and will be sold until the morning of the 16th. They can be purchased at the Egea bookstore at Via Bocconi 8 (from 10am to 12pm and 4 to 6pm) for 15 euros, which includes three drinks.

There will be many Radio Bocconi hosts trading places at the microphones (and mixing beats during the DJ set): it will begin during the day, when the radio's live booth in front of the Veledromo entrance will welcome hosts from various programs, a few people from the station Radio Deejay (including Roberto Ferrari), the singer Tao, the Electrofants, the band made up of Bocconi students Kendema and Big Fish. During the happy hour (5 euros), singers from X Factor Le Donatella, the Rumatera and Selton will perform. Big Fish will return to mix tracks during the evening event in the Veledromo, taking turns with Semi Trabelsi and DJ sets by Radio Bocconi students. The evening will also feature live tweeting by Spotted Bocconi. At the end of the event (doors close at 1am), attendees will be able to get into Old Fashion at no extra charge until 1:45am.

"The fifth edition of RB Day is the perfect indicator of Radio Bocconi's maturity," says Edoardo Righini, station manager at Radio Bocconi. "As students, we may not have completed our five years of university yet, but as broadcasting DJs, we can certainly say that we have completed a sort of MSc degree!"

This year's sponsors are Heineken, Malibu, Mars Italia and RedBull.
