Politics as a Profession: Nichi Vendola

As president of Puglia, Nichi Vendola is an administrator as well as professional politician. It is on the relations between these two spheres, administration and politics, tha Nichi Vendola will give his contribution at the colloquium "Politics as Profession" organized by the Bocconi Bachelor of Economics and Management of Culture & Arts for its course on non-profit organizations. Giovanni Valotti, Dean of the Bocconi Undergruate School, will be the chief discussant.

"The choice of inviting Nichi Vendola", Alex Turrini, professor of the course, explains "derives from one the foundational elements of the syllabus, i.e. discussing the relationship between politics and administration, between politicians and officials, as first explored by Max Weber in his famous lecture Politik als Beruf".
