A Podcast That Tells the Story of Women Leadership
There has been a book, an event and a tour of the alumni Bocconi chapters around the world. Today the Changed by Women project is also taking the form of a podcast (in Italian), entitled 'Presenti e Future – Storie di leadership e di mentoring'. The five episodes – created in collaboration with Chora Media – have been designed with a specific goal: to inspire the new generations and talk about the future of women. The first episode will be online starting on 16 September on all the major platforms (click here for the podcast on Spotify).
In each episode (airing on a weekly basis), journalist and presenter Francesca Milano will talk to Bocconi alumnae who have reached high-level positions in their field and women students or recent graduates of the University. Their conversations about their experiences, aspirations, triumphs, hurdles and mistakes will be transformed into real mentoring sessions. They will also aim to dismantle the gender stereotypes and myths that still pollute the workplace and hinder women's careers in our country.
The first episode will feature Federica Ranghieri, Program Leader for Sustainable Development at the World Bank, and student Irene Cozzi taking turns at the microphone to discuss the perspective and impact of a career in international organizations, while the second will bring together Veronica Diquattro, President of Consumer Business at Omio, with experience at DAZN and Spotify, and Bocconi student Nastasia Tecci. Their discussion will focus on women's careers in the world of technology.
Serena Porcari, CEO of Dynamo Camp Foundations and President and CEO of Dynamo Academy, will instead bring her experience as a manager in the third sector to her conversation with student Maria Vittoria Dini, while Diyala Laveni, Head of Investments and Venture Building at Vento, will discuss the situation, trends and prospects of startups in Italy along with student Federica Mariani. Last but not least, women in finance: Arianna Alessi, Vice President of OTB Foundation and CEO of Red Investments and Brave Wine, will take the microphone to discuss the topic with the recent Bocconi graduate and young professional in the sector, Annalisa Sgaramella.
