From Opera to Indie Rock, BAG is Playing Everything All Over Campus
Six different performances, two main locations (the Via Roentgen B-Bar and the atrium of Via Sarfatti 25), and a diversity of musical genres: groups will be making music at the sixth edition of Bocconi Art Gallery. Musicians from the Bocconi students music association (BSMA)will perform live with music and songs that will go from opera to blues to rock, through classical and jazz. The initiative, organized in collaboration with Furcht Pianos, is part of 'I'm on, live!', The concert series that the student association has organized throughout the year on campus.
Starting from 5:30pm, at the B-Bar Via Roentgen 1, the public can begin with a little opera, an aria from The Marriage of Figaro (Silvia Ricca and Filippo Rotondo), then a bit of jazz improvisation (Edoardo Oriana, Simone Colistra and Edoardo Carletti), followed by indie rock with the Shirtless (Mattia Solimano and Davide Borghesi) and topped off by rock and blues (Riccardo Mezzi and Marco Colombo).
The atrium at Via Sarfatti 25, however, will feature opera with Edoardo Falchi and Leonardo Ruggieri and then classical and jazz with Edoardo Oriana.
"We chose to play what amounts to a summary of the concerts offered by I'm on, live! during this year, "says Giorgia Megliola of BSMA. "A sort of voyage through the history of music from the seventeenth century to the present day".
