Open Day Graduate. A Glance at the Future
The decision on how to continue studies after the Bachelor degree is an important moment in every students' life: the panorama of specializations is so broad that it is easy to get lost. "Every student must follow his/her ambitions but also try to get to know all the different professional opportunities", says Antonella Caru', Dean of the Undergraduate School, "This awareness allows the student to choose the right Master of Science, which has to be a bridge between the University and the world of work". These are the reasons why every student should attend the Open Day Graduate, the event dedicated to all university students (not just Bocconians), interested in learning the various post-Bachelor opportunities. During the initiative, to be held on February 25 from 10:30am in Roentgen 1, "all the 10 Master of Science programs will be presented", explains Paolo Cancelli, head of the Student Division. "In addition to the directors of the various graduate programs, the event will also be attended by enrolled students, ready to clear any doubts and to give a more 'informal' point of view to their peers."
"The novelty for this year is a roundtable during which some Bocconi alumni, one for each Master of Science, will talk about their experiences and answer all questions about all the possible post-graduate career opportunities, which is basically the kind of information participants are most interested to listen to" continues Cancelli. During the event, students can also find a Master of Science information area, a selection and admissions desk, a financial aid and housing desk, an international relations desk and a Career Service desk.
Students from other universities will have to fill the online application form, while Bocconi students can access the event by presenting their identity cards.
