New Director for Mafinrisk

With the start of the eleventh edition of the pre-experience Master in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management, Davide Maspero has taken the post of Director. The program attracts graduates in the quantitative sciences as well as economics

There has been a change of Director for Mafinrisk , Bocconi's pre-experience Master in Quantitative Finance and Risk Management, which will start in September with the XI edition. Davide Maspero, Professor of Financial Markets and Institutions will take command today, following Francesca Beccacece, Professor of Financial Mathematics.

Mafinrisk , taught entirely in English, will appeal especially to those who aspire to assume managerial and operational roles in the areas of securities portfolio management , trading, asset management, research in the field of financial management and control of risks in financial and insurance institutions ( commercial banks,investment banks, insurance companies, securities firms, asset management companies ), non-financial firms, supervisory bodies and technical consulting, strategic and computer science companies.

" The program is aimed at graduates in economics as well as students from scientific studies that typically include physics, mathematics or engineering ," says Maspero, " and after 10 iterations, it is established as a point of reference in this specific field , thanks to the excellent results achieved in terms of placement "
