Mission: Film Festival
"Being, all together, at the Giffoni Film Festival, was like entering a dream and watching it come true. And actually, it was much better than we had expected!" Giulia Provino, Federica Ferraro, Alessandra Staropoli and Alice Minisini are the four reporters of Radio Bocconi who, from 19 to 27 July, were at the Giffoni Film Festival, the youth film festival that takes place every year at Giffoni di Valle Piana (Salerno), this year at its 45th edition.
It was an exciting week for the four girls, and a well-deserved conclusion of their year spent at the Radio, where they conducted the programme Cinema As We Know It. "In the span of one week we had the opportunity to see and interview Italian and international actors, but also musicians and radio personalities: Malika Ayane, the Trio Medusa, Tom Felton, Asia Argento, Nicolas Vaporidis... and many others. The atmosphere is awesome there, the press room was full of young people and the jury members were aged between 3 and 22", say Alessandra and Federica. It was an important challenge for the four young presenters, who faced the experience with enthusiasm and whose extra weapon was team work, as explain Giulia and Alice: "Radio Bocconi gave us an incredible opportunity and we are proud that we fully exploited it: we interviewed a lot of actors, we shot and edited our videoblog, we put our abilities as photographers to the test... working together was the X factor of our festival mission!"
