Advantageous conditions for graduates interested in the accounting professions

The second agreement between Bocconi and the Ordine dei Dottori Commercialisti e degli Esperti Contabili di Milano (Order of Chartered Accountants and Accountants of Milan) was signed on 10 July. It follows the first Convention that was in place from the academic year 2011-12 to 2014-15 . The second Convention, ratified by Rector Andrea Sironi and CEO Bruno Pavesi for Bocconi, and by Alessandro Solidoro, President of the ODCEC, will be in force from the academic year 2015-16, and regulates the conditions for "exemption from the first written State examination and allows part of the internship to be held during the last year of studies. " In particular, the Convention involves graduates of MSc programs looking to practice as chartered accountants and Bachelor graduates who want to go into accounting. The Master programs in the Convention are CLELI and AFC, the Bachelor programs are CLEAM and BIEM.

"The new agreement between Università Bocconi and ODCEC in Milan greatly facilitates the access by our young graduates to the profession of chartered accountant," says Annalisa Prencipe, director of the Master of Science in Business Administration and Law (CLELI), which oversaw the drafting of the Convention. "The agreement provides for the possibility of being exempted from the first of the three written State Examination tests, as well as the opportunity to perform six months of internship (out of a total of 18 months) during the final year of the course. There are also incentives under similar conditions for Bachelor graduates interested in the accounting profession."

The new Convention will apply as of the session of examinations for admission to the profession in November 2015 as regards exemption from the first written test, while internships will begin from August 2015.
