International Week 2011

, by Jenna Walker
Bocconi students get ready for the next edition of the event from 14 to 18 February. Students can learn more about the thousands of international work and study opportunities in around 100 countries worldwide and hear from students who have already participated in international programs

Living abroad is a one-of-a-kind experience which allows Bocconi students to meet new people, learn to appreciate different cultures and develop a new way of seeing the world. All this can be achieved while acquiring international economics and management skills and a truly global mindset.

Each year, the University's International Relations Office hosts "International Week." The event is open to all Bocconi students and it showcases the many opportunities available abroad. Throughout the week, Undergraduate, Graduate and Law students can attend presentations focused on international Bocconi programs, as well as special sessions on program details, emerging geographical areas, international mobility, and presentations by the Career Service.

Last November at the IW Anteprima, students had the opportunity to get information on select programs. Information was provided about Undergraduate, Graduate and Law programs, with a focus on several Graduate opportunities like Double Degree programs and the CEMS Master in International Management which have an early selection process.

Students that missed the November event and anyone who would like more detailed info on all of Bocconi's international opportunities should attend the next edition of International Week, starting on 14 February 2011. It will be a week of presentations and seminars that give students insight on all international opportunities.

One of the highlights of the week is the Student Fair, where former participants in international programs and incoming students from Bocconi's Partner Schools talk about their experience, a great way to get first-hand info from classmates.
