Inauguration of the Mumbai International School of Business Bocconi
Bocconi's presence in India has been consolidated with the official inauguration of MISB Bocconi, the Mumbai International School of Business Bocconi. With the SDA Bocconi School of Management, it has been opened through an alliance with the Ultimate Knowledge System, a group of Indian entrepreneurs. MISB Bocconi is on the Indian higher education market to offer Indian students postgraduate courses that combine Indian roots with a strong international outlook.

The ceremony was held on the school campus, which is in the Hiranandani Knowledge Park, and participants in the event included representatives of the local business community, Bocconi and SDA alumni and MISB students.
MISB was launched in July with the kick-off of the Post Graduate Program in Business, an educational program in international management focusing on the Indian market and business in India. Courses are held by faculty members from Bocconi, India and other parts of the world, and participants come from 15 Indian states.
MISB will make use of Bocconi's experience in India, which began in 2000 with its first partner university agreement, as well as its network of collaborations with Indian corporate partners, which will be helpful in offering students internship and placement opportunities.
