Francesco Saita New Director of CAREFIN

The dean of the Graduate School succeeds Andrea Resti

Francesco Saita, full professor of financial markets and institutions at Bocconi and dean of the Graduate School, is the new director of CAREFIN, Centre for applied research in finance at Bocconi.

He succeeds Andrea Resti, director of the centre since its foundation in 2008.

Dean of the Graduate School, Saita has also been head of the Department of financefrom 2007 to 2010 and director of the Master of science in Finance program from 2005 to 2007. His research interests include risk management, financial derivatives and asset management.

Born from the merger of three pre-existing research units at Bocconi (Newfin, Cerap e Pension Forum), the main areas of activity at CAREFIN include banking, insurance, risk management, asset management, pension funds and financial markets.
