Fragments of Music on Display at Bocconi

The shots by Lelli and Masotti are protagonists of the new date with photographic art organized by MIA Photo Fair in collaboration with Bocconi Art Gallery. From September 25

Orchestra leaders captured in the moment of musical emphasis, Italian theaters of the eighteenth-nineteenth century and musical instruments are the subjects of the exhibition promoted and realized by Mia Photo Fair in collaboration with Bocconi Art Gallery (BAG), open from September 25 at the restaurant foyer of via Sarfatti 25. Behind the camera, Silvia Lelli and Roberto Masotti, photographers specialized in performing arts who are internationally recognized: their works have appeared in exhibitions in Korea, United States, France, besides Italy – they have also participated in the International Art Exhibition, la Biennale di Venezia.

The purpose of this fourth date with photographic art hosted by Bocconi University is to evoke the emotions that music can inspire, in all its aspects. In the first of the three projects presented, the exciting effect that music arouses in those who collaborate with its creation, that is, orchestra leaders, with their unique gestures. In the second one, theaters as calm places where silence reigns before the musical storm, including the La Scala Theater. In the third and last project, some musical instruments depicted in their abstract and metaphysical immobility.

The exhibition is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm and on Saturday from 10 am to 6pm until January 15.
