#FoodSavingBEC Is Conquering France

#FoodSavingBEC now also speaks a little bit of French. The French embassy in Italy is in fact support the contest promoted by Università Bocconi with the collaboration of Expo Milano 2015, the Italian Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forest Policies and the European Commission, and the patronage of UN for Expo, the FAO and the World Food Programme, which will bring 200 students from all over the world to Milan this summer. The purpose of the competition is to raise awareness on food waste issues. The students will attend a week of classes and dedicated workshops, in which they will be sorted into groups to present an idea against food waste at the end. Finally, a jury will evaluate the best project, which will then be presented at the Italian Pavillon inside Expo Milano 2015.

This is a great opportunity for students, that the French embassy has decided to support by taking care of travel expenses for the top five ranked French students. To participate, students must register on the website www.foodsavingbec.com, fill out the form and upload a motivational video lasting a maximum of 90 seconds before 31 January.
