With the results posted by Bocconi and SDA Bocconi in the various FT rankings in 2014, the University has maintained eighth place in the ranking of the best schools in Europe

A 2014 of positive results for Università Bocconi and SDA Bocconi in the most important international rankings concludes with the confirmation by Financial Times of the positioning in the top ten of the best schools in Europe, with the University maintaining 8th place in the British newspaper's ranking of rankings.

This result was made possible thanks to the high placements scored by Bocconi and SDA Bocconi programs in the various specialized rankings published by Financial Times in the last 12 months. The Master of Science in International Management at Bocconi rose to 12th place globally whilst the SDA Bocconi MBA earned 11th place in Europe. The Executive MBA ranked 30th in Europe and the business school's executive education offer garnered 10th place in Europe. Although not included in the calculation of the ranking of rankings, Bocconi's Master of Science in Finance reached 8th place in the world.

"This result is an important acknowledgement of the efforts made by Bocconi and SDA Bocconi in recent years to further strengthen the internationalization of teaching, the educational experience and placement," says Stefano Caselli, Vice Rector for International Affairs of Bocconi. "We want to form graduates who are able to compete in the global job market arena, conscientious and able to contribute to improving our society. An effort that is recognized by recruiters and appreciated by alumni, as shown by their evaluations in the various rankings."

In 2014 the University confirmed itself as the only Italian University present in all the most important international rankings. Among the various positions gained, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked SDA Bocconi's MBA 14th among the best programs taught outside of the US while The Economist assigned it 12th place in Europe. In the World University Rankings, Bocconi placed 25th in the world, and 6th in Europe, among the best universities for Social Sciences and Management.
