, by Tomaso Eridani
In the ranking of the best European business schools Bocconi consolidates sixth position

From Master programs to executive courses for managers, the positive results earned by Bocconi and SDA Bocconi School of Management in the various Financial Times rankings of 2017 confirm the University in 6th place among European business schools in the ranking published today by the British newspaper.

"In the most important international rankings, regardless of the different focus and methodologies adopted, Bocconi continues to improve, settling into the top 10 at European level and in the top 30 at global level", comments Gianmario Verona, Rector of Bocconi. "Today's ranking confirms in particular the value of our school of management, which has been competing with increasing success in the international market for a while now".

The ranking is drawn up using the schools' results in four of the five rankings the FT produces during the year. In the ranking of the best Masters in Management Bocconi rose to 10th place in the world while the MBA of SDA Bocconi stayed at 9th place in Europe. The Executive MBA, taught in Italian, rose to 33rd in Europe and in the executive education ranking the business school earned 3rd place in Europe for custom programs. Not included in the calculation of this ranking of rankings is the Masters in Finance ranking, where Bocconi reached 7th in the world.
