Enrico Cucchiani Replaces Corrado Passera on the Bocconi University Board

The board of directors of the Javotte Bocconi Institute has named Enrico Cucchiani a new member of the Università Bocconi Board, substituting the resigning Corrado Passera, who has been Minister of Economic Development, Infrastructure and Transport since last November.

As the Università Bocconi statute sets out, Javotte Bocconi Manca di Villahermosa Institute has the duty of appointing the president and 9 other members (out of a total of 19) of the school's University Board. Enrico Cucchiani, former memmber of the Javotte Bocconi board of directors and member of Università Bocconi's International Advisory Council, is CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo. He has been Chairman of Allianz SpA and a board member at companies such as Pirelli, Unicredit, Illycaffè, Institute for International Political Studies and the Aspen Institute Italia. After graduating from Bocconi, he studies at Harvard University, Stanford University and he also worked for McKinsey,working in particular with the banking sector. He was elected Bocconian of the Year in 2006.
