Durham Triumphs but for Bocconi Lacrosse it is Still a Victory

The result was preordained, and the score too lopsided, but the experience is unforgettable and useful for the future. Bocconi Sport Team's lacrosse squad, current Italian champions, lost in the second edition of the Cathedrals Cup, which pitted the team of Bocconi student against Durham University. They are one of the strongest teams in England, a country where lacrosse is much more popular than in Italy .

"They have put together a great team, composed almost entirely of players from America, the homeland of the sport ," says Giovanni Fossati of the Bocconi Sport Team, " but for us this trip on English soil was still very nice and we even had the honor of taking the first lead .
