At Bocconi, on Thursday 26 January at 9pm in the Aula Magna, there will be a concert with music of Ludwig van Beethoven, Fryderyk Chopin and Alexander Scriabin

Another date with the piano at Bocconi. Thursday 26 January at 9pm in the Aula Magna, a concert by Damiano Paci is on the docket. For the occasion, Paci will play, in the first part, Ludwig van Beethoven's Piano Sonata in A flat major n.31 op. 110 Moderato. The movements are: cantabile very expressive | Allegro molto | Adagio ma non troppo - Fuga: Allegro ma non troppo.

The second part will be devoted to the music of Fryderyk Chopin: Sonata in B flat minor n. 2, op. 35, which includes the famous funeral march. The movements: Grave – Doppio movimento | Scherzo – Più lento | Marcia funebre: Lento | Finale: Presto. Concluding the program is Alexander Scriabin's Sonata-Fantasy for piano in G sharp minor n. 2, op. 19, with movements Andante | Presto.

Damiano Paci, born in Florence in 1999, undertook piano studies with Luca Torrigiani, under whose guidance he passed the examinations for completion of the middle course at the Conservatory Antonio Buzzolla Adria. He continued his studies with Stefano Fiuzzi, Alexander Lonquich who always chose him as a regular student in the Master Classes held by him at the Accademia Bartolomeo Cristofori of Florence) and François-Joël Thiollier. He has participated in several national and international competitions, finishing first in many, including: Città di Bucchianico (where he also won the Fryderyk Chopin Award), Johann Sebastian Bach (where he also won the Sestri Levante City Award) , Pia Tebaldini of Brescia (where he also won the SKY-TV award). He also participated in the Sony Classical Talent Scout Madesim. Since 2012 he plays as a soloist in many concerts in major halls and music institutions. Since 2015 he has recorded CDs as a soloist for the label Euterpe Classic Music, during some concerts at the Villa Rospigliosi in Lamporecchio.

The next concert at Bocconi will be Thursday 23 February, 2017: Luca Torrigiani (piano) and Lapo Vannucci (guitar), music by Procaccini, Giachino, Castelnuovo Tedesco, Lincetto
