The honour to wrap up the lessons of the two-day European Families in Business Conference (Amsterdam, 9-10 July 2012) fell today to Guido Corbetta, AIdAF-Alberto Falck Chair in Strategic Management for Family Business.
His speech Going Global. Assessing the Expansion Strategies for Family Businesses in the Current Economy Landscape closed the gathering of scholars, practitioners and managers who discussed the renaissance of responsible capitalism in the Dutch capital.
In his remarks, Corbetta highlighted how the most successful European family businesses could balance local roots and international ambitions adopting effective growth strategies even in downturn times.
