Alberto Chines, an internationally renowned pianist, will play music by Jean-Philippe Rameau, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Thomas Adès, Béla Bartók, Ludwig van Beethoven and Igor Stravinsky / Guido Agosti on Thursday 17 March at 9pm in the Via Gobbi Aula Magna.

The event has been organized by ISU Bocconi, Student Affairs Division, in collaboration with "La Primavera e di Baggio," the Davide Cabassi Piano School and Furcht Pianoforti. Admission is free but seats are limited.

Alberto Chines is a young pianist who was born in Palermo in 1988. He studied under Roberto Agrestini and Irene Inzerillo and was the only Italian pianist selected as a "Young Artist Performer" in the 2013 edition of the PianoTexas International Academy & Festival, held in Fort Worth, in collaboration with the 14th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. He won second place at the Euregio Piano Award in Geilenkirchen, Germany, and the Sony Classical Talent Scout in Madesimo, after which he performed a successful recital as part of the Madesimo Music Festival.
