Chopin as Played by Gloria
Chopin, Wagner, Liszt, Ravel, and Debussy will all be played with elegant execution and style by Gloria Campaner. On February 11, the pianist will play in via Gobbi's Aula Magna in the concert organizef by ISU Bocconi in collaboration with Furcht Pianos.
The Venetian Gloria Campaner is considered an emergent talent in the Italian piano scene. She suuided with internationally renown artists such as Swann, Perticaroli, Rose, Troull, Jasinskij, Bashkirov. Since 2007, she's been perfecting her art under the guidance of Konstantin Bogino and with Fany Solter. In her concert at Bocconi, Gloria will play Prelude op. 45 in C sharp minor and Polonaise-Fantaisie op. 61 in A flat major by Fréderic Chopin, Isolde Liebestod aus Tristan und Isolde by Richard Wagner and Franz Liszt, Valses Nobles et Sentimentales by Maurice Ravel, and L'Isle Joyeuse by Claude Debussy.
Campaner was recently awarded with the International Ibla Grand Prize 2009 (Top Winner and Prokofiev Prize). In October 2009, she was appointed European Ambassador of Culture for 2010-2011 within the cultural project "Piano: Reflet de la Culture Européenne".
