CercaOfficina Celebrates Its Second Round of Financing
CercaOfficina, a startup hosted by the Speed Mi Up incubator, concluded a second round of financing worth €560,000. "The financial backers", Marco Brusamolino, one of the founding shareholders, explains, "are private investors, both Italian and foreign. Some of them continue to believe in us, having participated also in the first round of seed financing".
CercaOfficina manages a website that helps find the best quotes for car repairs and, as now, covers Milano, Rome, Turin, Genoa and Florence. The new round of financing will allow the company to follow a development plan that envisages to cover five more cities in the second half of 2015 and to achieve a truly national reach in 2016.
"The financing is the result of a lot of work and networking", Brusamolino explains, "and of many meetings, that convinced the backers of the quality of our work. Some of the investors entered our network thanks to Speed Mi Up, others were already in".
CercaOfficina's founding shareholders are Luca Maccarini, Marco Brusamolino and Romano Perticone. You can see them in the picture, along with Mikkel Draebye (second from left, their Speed Mi Up tutor).
