Bocconi's First Student Film, 'Non e' tempo per noi'

Entirely produced by students, the premier will be on November 30 on campus

A student's life, from the first impact with his studies, to falling in love and finding a job: this is Non è tempo per noi the first film written and produced completely by UB students. The premiere screening will be 30 November at 9pm in the Aula Magna of the via Gobbi building. Media partner in the iniziative were , ACTMB (Arte, cultura, teatro e musica in Bocconi), and two other student outlets: the newspaper Tra i Leoni and Radio Bocconi.
The film was written in 2010 by UB student Alessandro Valbonesi (also the director), in collaboration with ACTMB's Walter Rauti. Its three chapters symbolize the protagonist's three years of university in 44 scenes shot on campus, in the Brera quarter and in various Milanese establishments. Non è tempo per noi is a look at a crucial periodo f life: the passage into adulthood. The situations are real, but " amalgamated with a bit of imagination and surreality, which I think are needed add flavo to a good story" , says Alessandro Valbonesi. The cast of students includes: Dario Greco (Dario), Giacomo Marchesini (Luigi), Maria Luigia Vinciguerra (Martina), Jacopo Levi (Alessio), Giacomo Iafrate (Jack), Nathalie Polinetti (Natalie), Camilla Berchielli (Kate). Costumes and scenes are by Riccardo Fornezza, and Caterina Calvino handled the make-up. Michele Sodano, wrote the soundtrack, which can be heard at this link.
Three members of the Bocconi Faculty aslo make cameo appearances here and there: Paola Dubini plays herself as Director of the CLEACC program, Giorgio Fiorentini, is Dario's employer, and Joseph Edward Rozzo appears as a bizarre photographer.
